In the sharesheet of the item in the Files app, there should be an option to open in Altstore. There should also be a plus button within Altstore to achieve the same result. I clicked ont he jailbreak tab, and clicked on the iOS 13-iOS 13.5.5 link that popped up sense thats what my device falls under, and it just brings me to a page in safari that tells me the different jailbreaks available, But no true guide on how to get them. I'm kinda stuck right now, not sure if i need to reboot the iPad in question or not but i'm just confused. It says i need to click on an a12 device tab or something lke that to do it propperly, but i don't see one. Please, any help would be apreciated. I know the premice and how to do things with a jailbroken device, but i have never done it before, so if anyone here is an expert or anything like DJEPIC has shown, please pitch in. In short, you're making it harder on yourself in some regards if you're not going to use a PC. At the end of the day, you can just get them anyway, though I personally use Zebra. You do *not* want to update to 13.5.1 if it's available as that patches Uncover and jailbreaking.Tethered basically means that you'll need the device to be connected to the computer too much to make the JB practical, I guess hence why ya don't see them around these days.Semi-tethered I believe still isn't very practical, depending on your needs though. Every time the device restarts (not resprings) or shuts down, you'll need to rejailbreak from the computer utility that the JB happens to be using. Checkrain (Checkra1n) is an example of this.Semi-untethered is where things get interesting. You sideload the iOS app that will jailbreak, and you only need to jailbreak from that every time your device restarts or shuts down. Unc0ver and Chimera are examples of this. This is the most useful if you for whatever reason need to make your device behave unjailbroken, though your tweaks with settings entries and app icons, along with your package manager and your jailbreaking tool of choice will still display on your home screen.Finally, untethered. If you follow the pattern, this doesn't require the device to be connected to a computer at all, and your jailbreaking state will remain, even after restarts and shut downs. And I did my profile with some quirks, like fucking hos way through flight school, and being motivated by credits and making peace with being on Chetumal during bombardments.Hpefully that helps@Drums: Are you Alyssa Kingston on SC? I'm torn between going for a cheap transport, or getting the more expensive one with a lot more cargo space. Hell I did briefly think on a star taxibut my goal is to get an Isotope and help the Fringe out with that. SC just feels friendly and there's always something going on in your alliance, even if it's just talking over comms while running mail or roids or whatever it is.
