This can include bgt titles and especially the BSC games.There's a reason for this. Older software especially may act in a manner that modern systems see as threatening, and they're right to do so, because in a modern case that behavior *is* threatening.The archive does not knowingly host malicious files, though it most certainly does potentially poorly written or buggy ones, and in some cases files from devs with less than stellar reputations.If you genuinely believe a file is harmful, we want to hear about it as soon as possible. In all known cases though, you should be safe to add an exclusion to your antivirus or browser.Unfortunately, as shown on the home and news pages, we are experiencing some significant issues lately, including tremendous traffic spikes from what we suspect are misbehaving users, mostly out of Asia. Well I don't use that website too much so I don't mind unblocking with each time I have to download something. But I can understand how much annoying it is for those who use the website a lot. I still don't understand why would they block it in the first place but it also has some audio files as far as I know so not all of it is games edit I just tried to download an audio file of the same website and it worked well so the problem is only with games. I wonder if this block is regional? As for fixing blocked downloads, I believe in chrome you can do this by hitting ctrl J to go to the downloads list, then going up and down with the arrows to find the url of the blocked download and tabbing to "more info," and then "unblock." hth.Btw, I really! wish we could get microsoft to whitelist Bgt programs again, while creating exceptions in Windows defender isn't too hard, its still a pain in the kneck. I did email Philip Bennifall about this, since after all even if he isn't maintaining Bgt anymore lots of good stuff has been made with it which it'd be a shame to lose because of some bureaucratic overzealous idiot, and he said he'd look into the problem, but last I checket Windows Defender was still objecting to Bgt most of the time, which likely contributes to this block issue. The blocking that I've gotten is that its harmful software, but Brave allows me to keep the software anyway. This is a very minor issue. I am also able to visit the site and download files despite the warning that they may harm my computers. I had meant to look up the contact info for the person who runs the archive, seeing as how I contributed content in the past, but didn't keep up with it. It kept slipping my mind to do so for one reason or another. All downloads from the AG Archive are being flagged as dangerous files, and I've tried with both Firefox and Chrome, so I can confirm that at least two major browsers are doing this. I don't know what could have possibly triggered this, seeing as how there's nothing wrong with AG Archive or its files. Anyone whom this happens to should alert Google's disability support team and they could probably convince the Chrome development team to whitelist that site.
