that bug's been around for a while now, no idea why they haven't tracked it down yet but if you have a shortcut key for NVDA or have the icon on your desktop its pretty easy to fix, these days whenever I get it I can have it fixed up in about 10

yeah see I never had anything that drastic, I just had a problem where after the first reboot my computer was on the stock drivers so wouldn't switch between speakers and headphones, but one-time restart fixed that partalth

that method isn't actually completely reliable in the latest versions I've noticed, the way I've been doing it is either listen for the shortcut key NVDA gives me in the actual alert message, most things will have at least one... or like I said
