And SAPi doesn't help, SAPI just inherently lags. This is something that is seriously lacking on Windows, what with QCast slowly breaking, and other solutions being thin on the ground. Re: An all new media player from Nathan Tech how about the ability to make playlists kind of like the old pulse mP3 player did. You should also be able to shuffle them. So, the playlists would only contain the paths to each folder so you wouldn't have to keep adding audio files to the playlist as you got more music. That is one problem with Pulse is that I have to continuously add new files to my music playlist every time I get a new song. Re: An all new media player from Nathan Tech M4a is a really common format these days, so if it can't play those, that's a dealbreaker for me. I would be interested if support for that was added, and if you could add an auto tagging feature. That's the only feature I miss from Winamp, the ability to load files and tag them right in the media player itself. If it would be possible to add that, I would definitely be interested in testing it out, but I probably wouldn't switch from VLC permanently. I'd like to be able to choose a folder, but instead of having it load all the files from the folder into memory and playing just those files, I'd like to see a media player that can stream the contents of the folder. This would be useful in situations where I just added a new file, but I don't want to reload the folder, stopping whatever file might be playing in the process. Also, while a file is playing, it can load another one into memory and cue it for playback so that there's no wait time between files. Is there a media player like this, or could you make it part of this one?
