One time, I reached out to grab the door handle, and as I'm sure many blind people have experienced at one time or another, my hand came into contact with a classmate's bra. Gosh! And she didn't let me forget because it turns out, that little bit of gossip soon spread to other classmates. Re: Funniest high school experiences? Here's mine. I will forever be known at my school as the girl who took a picture of Steve Jobs to prom. When prom came around, I had just started reading that Steve Jobs biography, you know, the really big one. Well, people at that school thought you couldn't have fun at prom without a date. The day before prom, they were aggravating the crap out of me asking who I was taking to the prom. They wouldn't accept no one as an answer. Finally, I got fed up, put down the book reader I was using to read, and announced, "fine, I'm taking a picture of Steve Jobs to the prom." They thought I was kidding. Well, I went home, found a picture, saved it as my main wallpaper, and took it to the prom with me the next evening. When they asked where my date was, I simply pulled out my phone and showed them the wallpaper. I remember vaping for the first time, totally not knowing what I was getting myself into, then consequently spending about half an hour in the bathroom because I was too scared to leave. Fun times.I had so many awkward / interesting moments in high school it's hard to think of one incident that particularly stood out. Those were probably some of the most interesting 5 years of my entire life. Absolutely bullshit most of the time, but certainly one hell of an experience. Re: Funniest high school experiences? So once during physical education class, I had a friend who was taking photography at the time, and he asked another friend and I to do him a favor. The second friend and I were to stand face to face, I was to make a punching motion towards his face, and he was supposed to tilt his head back at the same time so that when the camera went off, it looked like i socked him in the face. So we got in position, the photographer said go and I jabbed. After an audible "crack", I heard the click of the camera, and all the photographer could say was "wait, did that actually happen?" I was like yeah, we got in position, I punched, he forgot to dodge. The second friend in the story said that my fist came towards his right eye which he couldnt see out of, but fortunately he was wearing glasses, and it was just a light jab, not enough to do any damage. Both of my friends in that stories were partials at the time, and I was the only total, which is probably why the one doing the shooting wanted me to punch. I fell into a ditch outside the store we used to go to at lunch, and everybody laughed while I accidentally pulled my friends in, for the first second or so, than like half stopped laughing, and the rest kept laughing while my friends pulled me out and we went on our way. I got out of the whole afternoon, after I refuse to wear clothes from the school. EWWW! Then there was the time I let my best friend wave my Cain back and forth for fun, and I got in trouble for it. It was the most sitcom moment in my life I've ever had, what with the principal checking outlook instead of paying attention, and then stumbling over his words as he faked being on the teachers side. Was so fucking funny. Icing on the cake for me was that I got out of doing the beep test for that week. Then there was the time that , because of time constraints, me and that same friend left another friend, and a usable sighted guide back at the store. Somehow this got back to someone, and I had to write a 500 word essay on why I shouldn't have done this. This story became funny though when her dad read the esay, as we're all quite close. His response was just... priceless. Made the time I worked on getting that crapshoot to 500 words worth while. In fact I would say even shocking.Once, with a friend named Martina, we wanted to try the cannabis brownies that were sold outside our school. We were in the third year of high school and, although we knew it was not legal, we wanted to do it. We were teenagers who always wanted to live under their own law, with their own rules.One day, talking, we agreed. We would do it the next day, at break time.The next day came, and I was nervous but also excited. I secretly loved martina, but it wasn't that I wanted to hurt her, I just tried to tell her how I felt.The break time came, but Martina did not appear. I was waiting for her for 10, 15, 20 minutes, and nothing. I had both brownies, so I said meh, if she doesn't want them I'll eat them.Gross mistake. I ate one, nothing happened to me. I ate the second, and neither. I said OK, these probably won't work for me. I kept thinking that probably the seller, when he saw that I was blind, gave me the normals instead of the cannabis ones, who knows.However, when I was standing up to go claim him for what he did, I felt a very intense rush and a happiness like I had never felt in my life. It was as if they had told me good news, but multiplied by a hundred. The music was great, at some point it made me very hungry, and the food tasted like delicacies that were not from this land.The break ended and I started to feel really bad. I was scared of everything, I felt very anxious, I did not want to go to class because they were going to suspect, until Martina appeared. She asked: And the brownies?I was really mad at her. I didn't say anything to her and went to class. I understood all the classes and laughed a lot! It was great. But the bad trip happened to me in my house, while I continued to rise. I just remember feeling very anxious and passed out, nothing more. Anyway I started taking college classes at comunity college where I'd leave my high school after lunch and take public transit to school. Well once the college semester ended which was sooner than my high school one I'd say alright, I'm going to my college class, and just take public transit home. It was the best! I'd buy a soft pretzle on my way through the bus terminal and book it to my transfer. And as we'd agreed to do, we both immediately shouted, "Let's go into battle!" in really thick Scottish accents, then laughed our asses off at all the funny looks we no doubt received.2. Half-jogging down a hallway in the early morning. My cane totally missed a girl sitting in front of her locker because I was an idiot and not paying any attention. My shins and knees hit her back, and I flipped and basically landed right in her lap. I'm just glad nobody got hurt; the poor thing couldn't have been more than five feet tall, and she was tiny. What makes it worse is that I knew her; not well, but I had two classes with her.3. Early in high school, I only knew where one men's bathroom was. It was on the second floor and we were supposed to stay off the second floor during lunch periods, because the school had two separate lunch periods and the folks who weren't at lunch during period three were in class, and the same for period four. Anyway, I really have to go, so I sneak upstairs to find the bathroom. Get caught, explain my situation, the teacher tells me where there's a set of bathrooms on the main floor. Now, here's the important bit. Upstairs where I'd been caught, the bathrooms were arranged with the men's on the right, women's on the left. I assumed that it was the same throughout the school, so I took off like a shot back downstairs and went barging into what I thought was the men's washroom...only to have a girl I know say, "Uh, you've got the wrong bathroom, dude. It's on the left."I later came to find out that the first set of bathrooms I ever found were the only ones that were backward. All the others had the men's on the left.
