hello i noticed that still sometimes the game will crash while i am waiting on one side of the screen for ships to come my way or when i tapp the screen quickly sometimes it crashes the game. Also just to make sure we cant replay previous chapters right? I think it might help to have the option of reallocating points or resetting the chapters if we want so that we can allocate points say for all power shot instead of 1 power and 1 health.

@ilipe, welcome to the forum. I did notice the sound when enemy shots passed you, however as I said Im not convinced the audio is fully shwoing graphical information, both because the left/right sterrio effects dont fully show in game objects, particularly as regards enemy fire, and because several objects such as the space rubbish and ships have similar sounds. Perhaps more precise audio might be helpful, as well as an indicator of when enemy bullets exitthe screen, sinse while I know you state that the enemy shot sound is to play while the enemy bullet is on the screen, Ive found that not to be exactly the case and occasionally been hit by bullets which have ceased to sound. I also did note as you said that mad shooting often worked better than trying to be precise in targeting, which again is perhaps something you might considder in the balance.for the record I am using an Iphone 5.I really&
 nbsp; do applaud this project, and I love the idea of a game with full graphical support which occasionally forces everyone to use the audio (through the nebulae), indeed for me as someone with limited vision its a real treat, so I do hope these issues get fixed in the future.

One suggestion I can think of is to have some kind of tone to represent a projectile in motion, the pitch of which could change depending on its vertical location relative to the players horizontal location.

When you complete the chapters you get points to spend in your ship.We worked hard to make the story line as cool as possible, to make all the the shooting meaningful.

I wil say that is one aspect I liked, that there was a point to the ship blasting, the music was also cool, albiet I am afraid I dont want to buy the game until some of the audio precision is sinse I would like all the information to play tactically in audio that is available visually, albeit from the sound of it that will be coming soon.

By tone I just meant a solid tone, like a sine wave but less annoying maybe. Or in general just some kind of constantly playing sound that changes in pitch depending on the vertical location of the projectile.

We kind want to understand you. In the development of Nebula, we did several tests with many users, all the graphics are represented with sounds. Enemies emit sounds and you can hear them moving, to the left and right. We made some adjustments to the sound engine, to make easier to know when you are in front of your enemy and vice versa.You can hear your shot, the enemies shot (and know wheres he shooting, by his position), the laser shot, the asteroids and space junk. You can hear the power ups coming, know their effe
 cts and when theyre active. When a shot passes close to you ,or when you reached the limits of the screen also have a sound. When you hit the enemy, when youre hit by him or even when your shots collide, there is a sound. You can hear your life anytime and all the commands and storyline of the game. Hello. As I said above, I am afraid Im not currently convinced that the audio elements of the game accurately represent the graphical ones. firstly, it does seem that you can frequently be hit after the enemy shot sound has played, sinse it doesnt seem the audio you use gives an accurate verticle position of the falling shot. i would suggest as I said either have a sound for when the shot passes (whether close to your ship or not), or use a descending tone to indicate verticle position. In addition, given that some users didnt realize the enemy ships could move vertically on the screen and also that the position of the obstacles to dodge is not always clear, you might considder making the audio a bit more precise. I notice for example that the break from using one side of the sterrio field to the other, ie when objects become centered is quite abrupt, so that rather than fading in slo
 wly things in audio seem to jump around, even when they are in a continuous position, (which is obviously not helped by the ships own jerky movement). You could considder making the transitions across the sterrio area of the game rather smoother so that playing with audio it is easier to get a precise idea of the position of enemies and obstacles. Lastly, i would strongly suggest a sound for the space debris which is more different from the ships, sinse frequently when there are three or four ships on screen plus! obstacles to dodge it is not clear via the audio where each element is. Ive contrasted this flicking between situations visually on screen and using just the audio. the fact that gamers hear were unclear on the precise mechanics of the game after just using the audio is an indicator that perhaps this is an area where more work is needed. I dont say these things to be harsh or overly cryt
 ical but hopefully to improve the quality of the game, sinse as someone who has played audio games for close to 10 years and graphical games for close to 30! years i really do respect what your trying to achieve in the game, I am just not exactly certain you have quite achieved your aim of a fully intigrated game that provides an equal challenge with or without the graphics at the moment, sinse currently mimportant positional information is missing from the games audio interface. This isnt to say its not fun to play, but the experience of someone playing with sounds and randomly shooting like a maniac and hoping to hit something while risking being hit by inaudible bullets will not be equal to that of someone working with the graphics and being able to see where bullets are and attempt to control the game correctly enough to avoid them.

@Aaron, actually the deflecting is more like your shot and the enemys shot hit each other and anihilate, the problem is obviously you have to be bang in the dead center otherwise your shot and the enemys will pass each other in mid air and likely youll both get hit. As to the game, its basically space invaders style, accept that obviously your flying in space not on the surface of a planet. your ship can get left and right, and the enemies are in front of you moving up and down, forward and backwards.I think this game does have a lot of potential, but I hope the developer does work on the audio representation a bit more to show exactly this sort of thing, indeed the fact that I can only find out this information about what is happening by looking at different parts of the screen is a good indicator that there is more work to be done.

Hy guys, my name is Felipe and Im one of developers and first sorry my english Well our idea about the game is to make a game that is balanced for both people with visual impairment or not and really we rely on old arcade games.Enemy ships always shoot straight to the bottom of the screen randomly as they move randomly at different speeds so the game ended up becoming much harder for someone who is seeing the ships or not, some enemies are sometimes more easy to be hit not targeting them but just shooting at random.As for the sound, we know he is not 100% accurate, but we believe we got a acceptable precision for the game, but were not satisfied with it we are still working hard to try to further improve the engine and so we need a lot of feedbacks.Another big problem we had is that this first version of the game, was to balance for the iPhone 5 
 and iPad retina that has far more powerful hardware. Comparing with their predecessors, the graphics and audio are much more balanced. In the predecessors, actually there is an delay in the game, that we are already working to minimize or even extinct with the update that well release to the end of this week.About the sounds of gunfire, shot emits sound the whole path who is very short and stop making sound when it comes out of your screen, when it passes very close to your ship you hear a VUSH in the side that shot passed, another detail is that the game does have 100% use of visually information, audible. All in game sounds, from sometimes lower or higher. We had the concern of each enemy type has a different sound.Your spaceship has no sound of engines as was said earlier by someone, all the sound you hear is emitted by other objects in the game. The only sound it emits is his spaceship when firing.I would also tell you that several of my fri

Hy guys, my name is Felipe and Im one of developers Well our idea about the game is to make a game that is balanced for both people with visual impairment or not and really we rely on old arcade games.Enemy ships always shoot straight to the bottom of the screen randomly as they move randomly at different speeds so the game ended up becoming much harder for someone who is seeing the ships or not, some enemies are sometimes more easy to be hit not targeting them but just shooting at random.As for the sound, we know he is not 100% accurate, but we believe we got a acceptable precision for the game, but were not satisfied with it we are still working hard to try to further improve the engine and so we need a lot of feedbacks.Another big problem we had is that this first version of the game, was to balance for the iPhone 5 and iPad retina that has fa
 r more powerful hardware. Comparing with their predecessors, the graphics and audio are much more balanced. In the predecessors, actually there is an delay in the game, that we are already working to minimize or even extinct with the update that well release to the end of this week.About the sounds of gunfire, shot emits sound the whole path who is very short and stop making sound when it comes out of your screen, when it passes very close to your ship you hear a VUSH in the side that shot passed, another detail is that the game does have 100% use of visually information, audible. All in game sounds, from sometimes lower or higher. We had the concern of each enemy type has a different sound.Your spaceship has no sound of engines as was said earlier by someone, all the sound you hear is emitted by other objects in the game. The only sound it emits is his spaceship when firing.I would also tell you that several of my friends who are not visually i

Hi,@dark: Your ship doesnt actually make any sound at all. The only sound you get are the screen boundaries, the rest are enemies or in-game objects.You have to be really careful when moving. If you tilt a lot to one side, your ship will quite literally fly across the screen in around two or three seconds. If not, then you will go at a noticeably slower pace. I once drifted across the screen in ten seconds, and this is a bit tricky. If you are not dead level, you will never stop moving. If you put your phone on a flat surface it should level you. I dont know if youve tried out Audio Invaders, but it works a bit like that, only even more precise, theres an analog level of control here. If you try the movement tutorial, youll notice that even if you move it a little to the left or right, itll say the direction. This is a bit like a thruster. The more you move in that direction, the faster your ship will go.

@Aaron, I never said your ship made sound, I just meant your ship is quite a large size in sterrio terms meaning that a short can sound slightly left or right of center in the sterrio field and still hit, which again is why Id like better audio for those shots. I didnt mind the control mechanic, though Ive not played audio invaders, however it does frustrate me to not get full access to the game and be hit by shots Id already heard off to one side or the other.

Absolutely Aaron, indeed it reminds me strongly of galaxians, however that is why I feel the audio is lacking information, at least what I see when I look at the screen (though being as the screen is small I can only look at it a bit at a time), and what I hear from the audio doesnt add up in terms of precision.

I think that if your own shots panned with the movement of your ship this game would become more intuitive to play, hell even if your ship output a sound of its own that would help. enemy ships move much... much faster than you do and as a result there audio jumps about like a demented Bea sometimes lagging behind where they actually are on the screen. The game is still tons of fun. I cant wait to get into multiplayer

I dont know about a sound for your ship, sinse I do wonder if that would be a little too much clutter for the audio landscape, but panning your shots would be a nice idea. My biggest issue with the game as I said though is enemy shots, the enemy ships can be at various verticle positions, and the single shot sound as the bullet is fired isnt really enough to tell you where the enemy shot is with enough precision to try to dodge it effectively, especially when youve got a hole bunch of ships on screen all firing at you.

Hi,@dark: its interesting that you cant move your ship vertically, Im not really sure what the enemies do though. I always thought they were just on the left and right sides of the screen flying around a bit, or in some cases a lot.I think the best way to avoid shots for now is to move in the opposite direction of where they are fired from. You could try to deflect them but tha of course is risky. I once got into a situation where me and another enemy ship were taking potshots at each other, and stuff was being deflectd all over the place. It was quite rediculous.

The game is an interesting idea sinse it does have full graphics, although at times there are nebulae and the screen is blanked and cant be seen. My problem is Im not sure that the graphics and audio exactly go together. The audio for example when an enemy fires a shot is the same, yet the enemy can be higher or lower on the screen, equally Ive noticed frequently Ill get hit after the enemy shot is fired, because the shot is on the screen. A sound for when the shot passes your ship would help a lot with this. I also notice thatthe sound for the descending asteroids you have to dodge is very similar to that of several enemy ships, so this probably needs checking. I do approve of the game being difficult, Im just not exactly sure how much of that difficulty comes from the design and mechanics and how much (particularly in audio), comes from the attempt to marry the audio up to the graphics equally.Ive 
 currently finished the first stage, though I cant finish the second as yet.

Hi,Ive found out something. This game is definitely for advanced gamers. Believe it or not, projectiles seem to always go toward your ship. When you hear a ship shoot you ahve to fly away from it, as in, you have to react super fast. You will need mainstream game style reactions here folks. This is really like a propper arcade game.

Hey guys! @Dark Aaron is right. The game offers the same difficulty present in many mainstream games, Ive talked to one of the developers for about30 minutes and Im in contact with them. Im on chapter 3 level 2, Ive played this level for certainly more than two hours but cant complete it,and you know what? Its really beautiful, you dont see audio games with these kind of hard challenges often. The projectiles will always be targetedat your ship, so if the enemy ship is to the right and they fire, its probably going to go a bit to the left, thus making it necessary to reactimmediately either to block or to flee from it. The developers will also release an update to the game very soon to make chapter 1 a bit easier andfix the bugs, so stay tuned!

Actually sometimes the projectiles do make a sound if your past them.It is possible to dodge the projectiles in motion. You and your enemy ship are moving. When the enemy or you fires, the projectile will remain at that position. The goal is for your projectile to hit the enemy ship by timing. I dont tihnk the projectiles follow you. Generally if your close it is possible to quickly reverse direction or fly past the ship depending on the situation.

If I look at the screen visually im fairly sure the enemy shots dont follow you, they just go streight down as in space invaders, the only issue is that firstly your ship takes up a reasonable chunk of the sterrio field (which is fair enough and part of the challenge), however secondly as I said its not clearfrom the audio where the projectiles are which is why I question the access on this one, sinse what can see visually does not match up with what I hear.It is truethe game has very good mechanics rather similar to various 80s arcade games, particularly with how you must target the enemy ships as they move and howyou must strategically move and fire, but this is again why the audio information has to match the visual information. Perhaps Drg you could bring this issue up with the developers, heck if people on this board are thinking from the audio that the projectiles heat seak your ship where they dont there seems to
  definitely be an information lack here.I have actually noticed the sound if the enemys projectile just misses you, but this isnt quite enough to calculate positional information in audio exactly.

Im not sure if its just me, but Ive been getting hit by projectiles that seem to be not near me. For example I was at the leftmost edge, and a ship was, at least when I heard it before, out of range. Im not sure how its projectiles were hitting me that time. I could just be misjudging it though.

The ships can move pretty quickly, also bare in mind unless your holding the phone dead level you will drift around a little, this combined with the fact that your ship is pretty big in terms of its size on the sterrio field meaning you have to be fairly far from a shot for it to miss is also why I would like some more precision in the audio information presented to you in the game.
