Re: Need help uninstalling something
Thank you, it seems like a very useful tool, but I dont think it will be much help in this situation. Unless theres some executable for Norton (its an anti virus/computer protecter program, for your information) that I dont know about? I cant delete
Re: Need help uninstalling something
Cant you uninstall the Norton uninstaller?Again, if you want to delete some files, you may delete them by just clicking force uninstall, and selecting the folder where the files should be deleted, and they will be removed, I tryed it with avast
Re: Need help uninstalling something
Forcing the uninstall process should work. This is how I got rid of Avast. As for other alternatives, it depends on whether or not you want to pay for an antivirus program. On my machine, I have Vipre, which is extremely accessible but somewhat
Re: Need help uninstalling something
Hey.vipre is good but the options screen about scanning isnt acessible as far as I know, it has a bunch of check boxes which arent labled. Apart from that it does work great.

Re: Need help uninstalling something
a force uninstall from what I know and what I was told, is deleting/removing files from your system by force, so if that uninstaller detects any file to delete, it should be removed for sure.Avast is not bad, I use it everyday

Re: Need help uninstalling something
Avast isnt bad if youre passive about your virus protection. If you want something to run quietly in the background, and do what it needs to do, youre right, its acceptable.Good luck if it detects a false positive, though, and you need to get something

Re: Need help uninstalling something
Thats kind of the nuclear option Brad, sometimes it is necessary but its a last resort. Is there any chance you could get sighted assistance to help with the uninstall? Once you get into reformatting you start having just as many accessibility issues
Re: Need help uninstalling something
Hello,Hope I can help you in some ways.First of all, if you can’t uninstall that program you mean, you should probably need to use this uninstaller, which is highly accessible with Jaws and NVDA. By clicking right here (let me know if the link doesn’t
