Re: Things eurofly pilots just shouldn't do

Hi dark.Yeah I can see why you probably moved the topic. As for sleeping I guess I could. One reason I wouldn't is that I would  have to wear my headphones when I sleep and to  much waring phones causes my ears to  hurt so no.I could see how you could sleep while flying and happily rumble through only changing things to well what was needed.I for myself like to play as a wind down then sleep, I can get good sleep after I stop playing a game.Never sure when a general game topic becomes offtopic or vice versa and dark your last post went twice.

Re: Things eurofly pilots just shouldn't do

hello, let me recall such 2 occasions. don't pause the eurofly and put your laptop to sleep only to resume it later on after turning it back on. I did the same and was supplied with an unstoppable barrage of continuous application errors of an unknown sort which would pop out one after the other each second, making it virtually impossible to press any other key within the game, let alone closing the current task or flight. a task killing had to be handed out to eurofly window in that case.on another occasion, I took off, set course towards a destination thousands of kilometres away and actually lied down on the bed holding the laptop,  after leaving the airport. I could sleep just as fine almost the entire way, occasionally being awakened by a voice asking for identification upon entering a new state and occasional airport identification or frequency change, everything seemed just fine, along with different kind of music playing in the background for their co
untries. the sound of engines also helped in relaxation to quite an extent. after more than one and a half hour of sleeping through, I almost believed that eurofly can be easy to play even in one's sleep. until, --- what I didn't realized that I was circling the destination airport for a long time, and eventually ended up crashing the plane while hastily trying to slow down the plane, --- only mistaking the down arrow as the key meant for deceleration and ending up raising the nose angle far too high and boom, just near Kabul.well, there is certainly a huge scope for improvement, as of now the game is far from realistic. I suppose the pilots do not have bladders with some extra large capacity to hold it for hours and hours. just like having a drink, or calling a steward that option may as well be added. for example, even in a game as advanced as tdv, there was a scene after the landing on the aircraft carier, right? right. also, how about the possibility of handing over controls to other officer and having an option to leave the cockpit and move around in the plane? may be a grid as some ships in dmnb were designed to be like where a person walks to a certain coordinates to open or close the door, or walking out of the aircraft. how about smaller grid about 3x3 for smaller planes, and 4x10 and so on for bigger planes. just a random suggestion. this reminds me of a fsx playthrough with an addon where a person temporarily handed over the controls to an assistant who takes on the landing process and so on.regards

Re: Things eurofly pilots just shouldn't do

Moderation! One thing eurofly pilots certainly shouldn't do is post topics in the wrong place since this is bad . In fairness I can see the confusion, but since Eurofly is a game and since we've had other topics like "You know you've played too much swamp when" and such in general game discussion, I think this qualifies so I'll move it.

Re: Things eurofly pilots just shouldn't do

Hi.Didn't mean to offend anyone if it bugs you that much I can probably edit out that line my creative mind just sucks today.I actually  havn't tried to play another audio game or game of any sort though I guess I could play a game book while I was going along and not lose out completely.I have not tried to eat or drink a meal at a computer I have had that at a flat and knocked things and things got dammaged.I do know my dad and brother have been able to happily eat musly and drink coffee at their workstations while brousing the net with the mouse so I guess you could maybe but I wouldn't.One thing I have found is that if I wander away to have dinner, then have a coffee and a cake, then watch tv, then have a wash, then do my teeth some time during that I am at full speed at my destination so I try to go and decellerate and suddenly its to much and I am falling out the sky and my controls do not respond I really ahve to be carefull
how much I push the down key.As to my headlines, it souldn't supprise me if a pilot did try to eat a mean in the cockpit or something. One thing I have not tried and may still do is see if I have a noisy environment and try to play the game on the crappiest pair of headsets I can find.or even a pack of speakers. You don't need actual headphones for much once you have the runway and are in the air well. The runway can be hard to hit.As to isis, yeah, the less said the better.I really am trying if I can to just avoid political junk about headlines because I have a few in my head right about a certain us president right now who probably wouldn't mind shooting you down because he didn't like your face but I won't put them here.I am sure if I look round that there is probably a drunken pilot floating round somewhere.I do know from the latest planecrash in brazille that a pilot didn't fuel his plane propperly
and or send the right communications to control. But yeah.As an update, I removed the muslam line in the topic, this was suppose to be fun after all not a flame war I just wanted a laugh after all.

Pilot shot down because he angered a Muslim?Let me tell you what islam means, brother.İslam, as  a word meaning, means piece. A person truely from the religion of piece cannot shoot you down just because you angered him because of his fear of Allah.
