Re: how to remove 360 total security The uninstaller won't do it, nor will revo. That program is seriously locked down. You can't kill it's processes in task manager, stop the services responsible for it, since they watch the registry entries its startup entry can't be removed. You can't do selective started with it disabled because it will prevent you from selecting it. When I had that program I tried tons of different things to uninstall it. FInally I just started in safe mode and removed the files for it. I also found a list of the registry entries it creates with Google and removed those. Finally, you have to also remove the now broken services, the shortcuts, and stored data in %appdata% and progrm data. That's a really annoying program to be stuck with. Re: how to remove 360 total security If it's really that intrusive, try running a scan with malwarebytes, preferably in safe mode so that it will be able to remove its files for you.On the topic of the uninstaller, you can try using NVDA's OCR plugin though whether said installer can be trusted I can't say. Usually, for these scam anti viruses, it's likely the uninstaller won't work, or will work only after you buy the full version. Re: how to remove 360 total security Hmmm skype usually doesn't install this sort of junk.Why are you using an older version, the newest skype is largely accessable to a point, you just have to adjust the settings.Searching the net says you should reformat and reinstall windows.if you get skype from ms site you will only get bing offers and its easy enough to uncheck those.
