IMO its much better to publicly discuss bugs in betas because it makes the company actually fix bugs because they're practically forced too because of public pressure. A feedback mechanism they can ignore quite easily; but its much, much harder for a company to ignore the pressure of tons of people on various forums demanding that they fix it. Instead of telling people not to talk about bugs before a GM release at all, because you have no authority to make them comply to that kind of thing (and policing the internet is impossible anyway, plus the fact that that's unenforceable, which does matter and is relevant), you should explicitly indicate to others to tell us what beta version they're using. Post 34 claimed that users will believe that the beta exists in the released finalversion of the product if you discuss it before a GM release; I posit that the opposite would happen if you suppressed discussion of it: people would assume its not there (when it actually might still be there). Just because you submit feedback to a company doesn't mean the company will do anything about it, and that's assuming that the methods of submitting feedback aren't broken and actually work. The end call bug will hopefully be fixed soon, but see, even we can't reliably tell if it is or is not fixed, because for me it happens maybe once in 20 calls, while for others it is way more constant. So if you ask me is it fixed in beta 2, I would say I don't know, hopefully it is, have not experienced it in beta 2 yet but had only 2 calls so far. In any case, I haven't really experienced any significant bugs since upgrading to IOS 13, not even the call ending bug, which I'm very happy about. As for Siri voices, I wouldn't know if they cause issues, since I gave up on them after Apple stupidly removed the compact variants, and I despise how they sound now, all jerky and with pronunciation errors all over the place. If you don't have one, the mute switch will achieve the same thing. If you flip it when you phone shuts down, it wont vibrate, so just spam it a bit and you will know when to release power. I've been wanting to write the topic for awhile, but was too lazy until one day while waiting an hour and a half for it to turn back on, I wrote this topic.For now my best method is asking people to tell me when they are ending the call so I can turn off VO and then turn back on when call has ended. I have noticed it happens less often if you just wait a few seconds to use your phone after the phone ends, but I can't always prepare for it so sometimes I get caught swiping while the call is ending.I have been running this software since 13.0 beta 2, so maybe a factory reset to get rid of all the internal garbage that may have collected will make the experience a little better. I have to switch the voice to something other than a siri voice to eliminate several bugs. I don't mind that.Beta or not the end call bug was put in the final release. And trillions of videos of how to get beta without developer account. Apple protected beta 1, but they realized how much of a pain it was to protect, so they just said screw it at beta 2 and onwards.The roter was fixed in 13.1, so that is all good now. That's the one good thing about 13.1I have one of the x models, so I do not have a home button. I do the quick up, down, then hold power for a long time. It usually doesn't turn off, but it does work turning on.I believe the crash, speech off, and unlabeled things are siri voice bugs only, though I have not proven this.I will definitely consider downgrading. I have never downgraded from a beta before, but I may have to this time. It's getting too annoying. I will go back to 12.4 or 13.0, because 13.0 wasn't that bad. Just for your info, if you are beta testing, you agree to not share any bugs from the beta except those published by Apple, so stop beta testing or well, continue being dishonest. Not to mention you could possibly put the site in trouble since it is, after all, a legal agreement, even though the chance of that happening is super low. I never had duplicate items in rotor, and hard reset works just fine. All you have to do is after volume up and down, hold power and keep pressing the home button untill you can no longer feel it press. At that point, release power. I say this because you are supposed to release power as soon as it shuts down or else you will go to recovery, but the software home button is the only way I know for blind people to detect when it shuts down. iOS 13 works mostly fine. Why not try a factory reset? I didn't see many of these listed anywhere, and I browse web regularly on my phone so would have definitely noticed the crash. But, ellipsis, it comes at a price.No more using the status bar in apps. Now you can only use it on the lock screen and on the home screen. You can't even use the return to previous app or reutrn to call features anymore. You happy now?Another bug is VO deciding it's done seaking until it is turned off and back on. This only happens I think with headphones. Maybe only on calls with headphones.
