Interesting Flacus you mention the geek off scene. That struck me very much as the sort of flamewar I usually have to sort out on forums, needless to say if I'd! been looking at that virtual chat room I probably would've slapped everyone

I'm also with Dark on this one. I thought The VR gaming aspect was pretty well done, and there was a good story buried somewhere in among the eighties references, but agree with Dark that the central character was way too much of a smart arse

All fair points dark. There is so much that could had been done to make the plot so much better. One of the things worth noting is that in the book, no one really dies if you don’t count the one or two who does. I know they do within the game

If the clip I linked to in the first post is a sign of things in the movie, I would guess that it varies from the book a bit. I am guessing that they focused in on the action. Could be wrong, but this is coming from someone that just listened
