I recently got me a Cambridge Dacmagic to upgrade my Squeezebox Classic. I also connected my Asus O-Play to it and just for fun tried to play a 24bit/96kHz FLAC File with the Asus. To my (big) surprise the LED's on the Dacmagic jumped to 96kHz. And the File sounded simply amazing. Way better then
