Southern Phone are telling me the reason for my NBN HFC internet outage from
8.03am this morning is because of a fibre cut in Sydney. Is this affecting
large numbers of NBN customers?

This is pretty common from these SIP numbers. I have no idea if the symbio
networks folks take any action. Hopefully they track the number back to the SIP
account and close it, then mark the credit card used for the SIP account as
stolen.
Infoblox also has a SaaS solution providing DNS security (more than just
malware blocking).

with one of the newer players in the market, on a 100/40 plan. I’m consistently
getting 85/35 during the day, and in the evenings it’s more variable, sometimes
