My experience is while we all consider these things important, there is
little practical interest in addressing these things. It is entirely
possible that the routing carrier for the number does not transmit the call
in question, either because the endpoint in question is using a different
carrier
Hi Evan , usually if the numbers able to be called back it’s usually a hacked
pbx or hacked sip account that’s being used.
Cold calling a company saying you believe their pbx has been hacked and you
would like to help them - sounds like a scam to them ;)

What I find interesting is the voice providers do not appear to be
interested in helping squash this sort of behaviour. It's one thing when
CLID is spoofed but it's another when numbers are able be dialed and calls
go through to the scammers.
Does anyone know why VSPs / wholesales are not

Be great if we had Police or other Law Enforcement on list who could
make appropriate inquiries into this number and the entity which
operates it.
