* General news 

No new general news. News carried over:

IEEE Std 1003.1-2017 is due for publication on Jan 31 2018.
At The Open Group a resolution has been submitted to the Governing Board
to adopt the new publication into The Open Group Standards Information Base.

Andrew and Nick have still to meet with Keld soon, to discuss 
the SC22 concerns regarding the approvals process.

There was a previous action from the last meeting:
Andrew to ask Martin if there is anyone at Oracle who
is active at IETF, who could forward the issue and sponsor it at
IETF
Martin reported he had been unable to find anyone, Andrew took a followup
action to send a mail to the whole Austin Group membership.

Andrew reported he had one volunteer, and has forwarded the details
to the Core team. We can discuss next time
