he envisages could be made to work, but would like others to alert
him to any tools or facilities we come across that might be useful.

Bug 0001208: calling chdir as part of posix_spawn Accepted as Marked
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1208

Bug 1208 had been reopened by Geoff and the meeting agreed with
his proposed new resolution; the bug was updated.

Reopening because the following change to posix_spawnp() is incorrect.

On page 1453 line 48229, change:

the file parameter shall be used as the pathname for the new process
image file.

to:

the file parameter shall be used as the pathname for the new process
image file; if this pathname does not start with a <slash> it shall
be interpreted relative to the working directory of the child process
after all file_actions have been performed.

It should be something like the following.

On page 1452 line 48232, change:

a search of the directories passed as the environment variable PATH
(see XBD Chapter 8, on page NNN).

to:

a search of the directories passed as the environment variable PATH
(see XBD Chapter 8, on page NNN), using the working directory of
the child process after all file_actions have been performed.

We spent the rest of the meeting discussing Don's draft response to
Donn Terry's email, and agreed that Don should send it (draft text in the
etherpad).

Gettext draft.

The gettext draft and discussion is at
https://posix.rhansen.org/p/gettext_draft

We will continue this on the next call.
