* General news

We discussed Issue 8 planning - Andrew reported that the Governing
Board UNIX WG are looking for the Austin Group to provide some input
as to the themes for Issue 8. He reported that the group has suggested
C11 alignment. Andrew noted that previously we would generate a report
of the proposed changes for C alignment, and we would look to
commission that under contract (please let Andrew know if
we have any potential contacts to do such a report).

We also had a lengthy discussion about opening up development of the
specification to a git repository or similar. Andrew posted
a copy of the sources to the SVN repository so core team members could
see how the current source is organized.
It was noted that there would likely be IPR issues that have to be
overcome with the copyright holders.
