Since I just opened the 1.6 branch, we've now got two open branches around. HEAD of CVS is for ongoing development work, eventually to become avr-libc-1.8. The development name is 1.7.x. 1.6 is the "stable" branch where our next releases will primarily been made of. Any trivial changes from HEA
