Thank you so much for your help Judi.
I have Francisca do Rego's parents as Mauel Martins Velho and Maria Ledo.
Sounds like the same couple. Thank you for looking up that record for me.
Perhaps it will shine a light on Filipe Borges' parents as well as letting me
know more on her parents names
You can also contact George Pacheco he does great research.

Anyone have any idea when they are going to put the Azores records to be

Mike,
Madeiros sounds like it should be a corruption of the surname
Medeiros. Madeira is a different archipelago. It's not part of the
Azores. Maybe someone else has another idea for that place name.
You'll need a different record. Try for the marriage at St. John the
Baptist as we discussed
Cheri and Mike,
Madeiros is a variation on Medeiros. A large portion of my grandmother's side
of the family do spell their surname with an a while my grandmother and her
parents stayed with the traditional spelling.

common, but its branches are not necessarily relatives.

Hi,
If I may, I would like the point out the surname is TEIXEIRA. Simply
because there are lower and upper letters interjecting with the T rendering
it like the letter P, illusive.
