I find that at times the maternal last name was used for naming the
children instead of the father's last name .

nearby. It seems to me they should be married circa 1809, just before the
first the born, and occasionally, shortly after the first born.

I think this Antonio was related to Priscilla's husband Joao Pimentel somehow.
If I go far enough back, there is probBly a connection to my line as well.

Manuel married a distant cousin (4th wife?) and I was doing research on them
and came accros the attached.

Yes, just missed each other. We left Oakland at the end of June and returned
about July 14th.
You are correct on the bull fights; they were all over. A taxi driver provided
