Hi, My ancestors are Grandfather, Guilherme (William Souza) whose parents were Joseph (Jose) Souza and Maria Rose D'Avila and Grandmother Maria Bettencourt whose parents were Francisco Jose Bettencourt and Francisca Pereira. My Grandparents came to this country and lived in New Bedford, Ma.

Hi Cheryl, I see Cheri gave you the information for the St. John Cemetery Book. I just got the letter from the American-Portuguese Genealogical and Historical Society saying they have ceased operation. That is how I got the book through them. Cheri was more knowledgeable then I was. Carol
