Hi, My ancestors are Grandfather, Guilherme (William Souza) whose parents were Joseph (Jose) Souza and Maria Rose D'Avila and Grandmother Maria Bettencourt whose parents were Francisco Jose Bettencourt and Francisca Pereira. My Grandparents came to this country and lived in New Bedford, Ma. I know my Grandfather had a 1/2 brother, Joseph, and my Grandmother had a sister Anna who was actually my Grandfather's first wife. Anna died in childbirth and Grandfather later married Maria. They are buried in St. John's Cemetery in New Bedford.
