If you decide to try it, just create a full backup of your FTM files first.
I’m using this on macOS, so I can’t speak to it’s stability or issues on
Windows. I would assume it would be roughly the same, however.

Do you find the name often showing up as “of Tayde” or similar anglicized
forms? I’ve only seen “Ataíde” “Athaide”and “Athayde” with/without the “de” in
front of it (the last “de Athayde" shows up with my great great grandmother on
the Azores).
