Amalia daughter of José da Costa and Maria Joaquina is in the book of 1875
page 56, but she was really baptized in 1935.
I can't understand the justification it is given for that to have happened.

The notes below the baptism of your Maria is for someone else named Marianna
Amalia, whose baptism should have been there but wasn't found. So it's just a
note about it and reference to the other date and book in 1875 is where the
justification is recorded.

I think it says to go look at the baptisms in the year 1875 and go to page
56. The "fls" is like the English pp. for pages. fls = folhas which means
pages. Maybe a native speaker can translate the rest.

I can't make out the additional lines under the baptism record for Maria. It
looks like it was recorded when Maria was 56 yrs old.
