I come from Joâo Borges and Anna da Cunha through their son Miguel da
Cunha, married at Lajes in 1682 with Izabel Lucas. They had another son,
Antonio Mendes, married with Francisca Fernandes. They both many
descendants in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
Any information about them
Which Lajes? There are a few different Lajes' in the Azores. Let us know

I have lots of Evangelho's from Pico in my tree. The Manuel Pereira
Evangelho born 18 June 1819 is my 3rd great grandfather. The others on the
list are all related too, I have to look at the tree to determine exactly
how. Are any of these the same as your Manuel Pereira

Yes. I guess I’m confused so I will stay with my terminology when I talk to the
people I work with because I know what I mean and can illustrate what I mean to
them so we speaking about the same thing.
But I may have been applied the term correctly in one case. There are two line
in my tree
My apologies. Apparently the index show two instances of a Miguel da Cunha
marrying an Isabel Lucas in Lajes in less than a year. This one was in
1682. Both are difficult to read.
This is a birth record for Manoel. It starts on the bottom left with most of
the record on the right. It is, once again, the side note I need help with. I
easily understand the bottom note of Manoel dying in Rhode Island, USA on 18
Oct. 1992 and I think I see that the top side note is when
He married in this concehlho on 28 Sep to Fernanda da Conceição Rezendes,
24 years of age, single, daughter of Manuel Rezendes and Valentina
Lucianna. Note dated 28-9-1930.
