Hi Herb,
You need to upload Gedcoms on all the kits you manage.
Check the Passaportes leaving the Azores in 1902. Anthero shouldn't be too
hard to find.
Pick the Passaportes for 1902 for the port of Ponta Delgada. It's split
between 2 files.

I was busy prepping for Salt Lake City and wasn't keeping up on my blogs.

more of an alcunha to distinguish him from another Antonio de Medeiros in the
village. Brilhante means Brilliant or smart. I guess the other Antonio de
Medeiros was the dumb one.

Violante. I don't think Niolante is a name. The Portuguese word for
Nicholas is Nicolau (not sure of spelling). The other thing too...Violante
would be a girl and the next word does say filha. So another way to tell it
