2018-04-12 Thread luiznoia
There is an Ancestry.com tree that covers this family called Hunt Price
Nunes.

It says he is from Feteira, Terceira without documentation, but his WW1
draft card from Arcata says he was born Terceira on 10 Jul 1891.

It shows his parents without any documented proof.

Hello!

I have been working on my genealogy for quite some time. My family from the
Azores is a complete brick wall. Here is what I know:

My great grandpa was Frank Joseph Leonardo (Possibly Francisco Jose) b. 1889 in
Terceira. He emigrated in abt. 1909.

He married:

Emelia (census says Amelia) Gertrude Simas b. 1894 in Terceira. She emigrated
in about 1913.

Besides that, I really have zero information on them. Franks mothers maiden
name may have been Goncalves. I have found census info for a "Amancio Golcalves
Leonardo" who I believe may be Franks older brother.

Emelia's mothers maiden name may be Brito.

Anyone know of what I should be looking? I'm so lost here.
