I found the year based on book states it was 1820 or what ever book I am
looking at and the name I can sometime read or see those by looking though
the documents. But I still have issue trying to figure out Month date and
things like that. I have a book at home and I am trying to teach

I'm curious how you ascertain from a baptism that only gives the first name
(in this case, Manuel) that it is Manuel Jose da Silva from 1820. Most
people find read the year the hardest since it's written out long hand, yet
you are able to make that out. I'm just scratching my head over
