Yes, thank you.  It was answered about a fortnight ago.   "I was a Senior Software Engineer (grade 8D) at the BBC about 6 monthsago, and was paid 32k. 7D is more like 28k, I think."  There's also a link on the BBC website to a question which has been asked under the Freedom of Information act which
