I had problems too. It turned out to be SELinux preventing CGI scripts from
running. The is an SELinux applet in FC7. Enable script from in the http
section of the applet.
Once I did this BackupPC runs great.

Holy cow...I feel dumb. I never noticed that "Add" button. I did what you said
and it worked great (see below).
