what you are describing is the way bpc 3 does it.
In v4, the newest backup will be filled and all incrementals will
reference this backup.

I have a question regarding "filling" and levels of incrementation.
Let's have a look at one of my hosts. To me this look wrong: There are three
incremental backups (62,63,64)
but there is no pre
