occurred trying to find stat data of [1858555 1858580 0x0 SD]
I am new to LVM, so I may be doing something boneheaded. I've reviewed the
LVM HOWTO, but can't seem to find much detail about how to tell if a
snapshot is filling up. Any suggestions welcome.

On the subject of notifications...My wish list item would be to have the
option of sending a summary report on SUCCESSFUL backups. Sometimes users
just like to get that email to have a nice warm and fuzzy feeling.

I was thinking about scanning my backups with ClamAV. I figured I might
spot viruses on the backups and then I can go attend to them on the machines
themselves - just an added layer of protection. However, I was doing some
testing, and I backed up a host with the test virus EICAR.COM on it.
Rsyncd over ssh work on windows...rsync will still not act like a server
under cygwin.

You are listing /vz/dump in the BackupFileExclude array. Just leave it
out of BackupFilesExclude completely and it will be included.

Hello!
One of my backups
the server is rebooted, and subsequently won't restart until you
delete the .pid.
Thanks.

With the new version of Cygwin, you no longer have to setup rsync as a
daemon like this. You can use the rsync Xfer method instead of rsyncd.
That may solve your issue.

I don't see anything in the Backuppc Logs. There is really no feedback

TIA for any insight.

The -l administrator will make it log in as administrator instead of
root. If you have some other user you want to use, just substitute that
for administrator.

Any thoughts?

I've got it working (rsync, not DeltaCopy) on several 2008 servers both
32 and 64bit. I used to run the rsyncd method, but with the new
Cygwin, I'm just using the rsync method just like I do with Linux
boxes. Works even better than using rsyncd.

Me too...Although we have been using rsync instead of rsyncd since the
new Cygwin came out, it is always nice to see some other ways of doing
things. We are using diskshadow (on 2008) to backup things like
Exchange 2007.

I had that happen to me and it was because I had moved over my CSS from
the older version. We had customized it some, so I brought it over.
Could that be what happened to you?
We also had an issue with some of the buttons not working correctly on
the web interface when we did that.

Just to clarify, with the new version do you have graphs at all? I mean
do you have graphs whose data starts when the new version was
installed? Or do the graphs just not appear at all?
