I think I have resolved this ... haven't tried compiling the director yet nor tested anything, but the configure/compile of SD etc. shown below appears to work. I replaced our MySQL 5.0.41 package from SunFreeware with MySQL 5.0.45 Solaris (32-bit) pkgadd package from dev.mysql.com. Now compiles
