Hello Users,
I've experienced some strange problems with the "Recycling" on my Bacula.
For example, I have a pool to my Full Backups where I have one different
tape for each weekend in the month. Well, on the second week I've used
FW2-001 with Volume Retention of 27 days = 2332800 seconds and at t
Hi!
I ran into this today too.
Does anyone know if it has been implemented?

I'm running 5.0.3 and don't see this 6-day limit for jobs and do not have max
run time set in the config files. Pretty much all of my full backup jobs run
into the 15-30 day range due to the shear size of the backup and the constant

Hello Bacula Community:
I have an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server that has bacula 5.0.1 (dir, sd, and fd

an Ubuntu 8.04 LTS host that has Version: 2.2.8-5ubuntu7 (fd daemon)

I am having an issue getting the director on 10 to communicate to the fd

Morning,
I have a client that whenever I try to do a full backup, after 6 days, the
backup fails with this error:
Fatal error: Network error with FD during Backup: ERR=Interrupted system
call
In bacula-dir.conf, for that job definition, I have this:
Full Max Run Time = 1036800
So it should be

Hi all,
I've been wading through the documentation on how to exclude
files and directories from backup jobs but have had no luck.
I'm trying to exclude files like .pgpass and .svn directories
from wherever they occur in the filesystem.
The following works for /tmp and /var/tmp but seems to have
