I am test the plugins bpipe for to make backup way streaming. In my test
i used Mysql.
bpipe:/test/mybbdd.sql:/opt/bacula/log/mysqldump.sh
mybbdd:/opt/bacula/log/mysqldump.sh -R
Run Backup, finish OK, the file my.bbdd.sql no saved in filesystem.
drop database mybbdd;
Run Restore, finish

Among the many possibilities for your current problems, I suspect
that your Director and Storage Daemon may not be the same version.
