You are not by any chance restoring to a 64 bit machine or a bigendian
machine (e.g. Sparc or Irix) are you?
Did you solve the problem?
Thanks

Hi all!
I have a problem with my server configuration: bacula waits to any
appendable volumes so any new backup fails.
Can you suggest what to change?
I get this message: bacula waits to any appendable volume

Hello, I am running a production bacula server (1.38.11) and now I'm
testing bacula 2.0.
I have created a new db, I have filled in data from the production db
and I have converted it with the script. After this, I have changed
(running) configuration files to bacula 2 and I have started the
server.
Hello,
I'm going to test bacula 2.0 in a server that runs 1.38.11.
I am going to create a new db and to fill it with data from the
production one (I will upgrade tables to the new version). Volumes
will be the same.
I have some questions:
-does bacula 2.0 change also the structure of old volumes?
Hi all!
Is it possible to limit bandwidth used by bacula during file transfer?
Thanks

Hi all,
I have a question about volumes: is it possible to delete job files
from a volume (storage is a hard disk).
I mean yesterday a huge backup fails and now I have my storage full: I
tryed to delete files just from that job but I can't.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks

Hi, I've done the 1st backup of 40GB from a server ( the first is a a
full backup).
Unluckly the job terminated with an error and now the storage of the
storage daemon has many GB of "lost" space.
How can I remove that files from the storage?
thanks

do you suggest to split into clients or into definitions?
I mean I'm creating a include file which contains all info to backup a
client
but I could write a include file to contain the whole jobs or the
whole fileset..
is it right? I thinks it's as sys administrator likes.

hi all,
do you know why I get Filesystem change prohibited when I run bacula?
08-Aug 16:40 DirectorServer: Start Backup JobId 95,
Job=BackupShannon.2006-08-08_16.39.58
08-Aug 16:40 StorageServer: Volume "centroservizi" previously written,
moving to end of data.
Shannon: Filesystem change pro
kupWin"
Problem probably begins at line 15.
Any included files must be as a stand-alone configuration files? I
need to write in all directive I use with the main files?

Can you suggest me the correct syntax? I've made some tests but It was faulty.
