At first, you need to run update pool from resource (like you've already done)
Then, from volume parameters choose update all volumes from pool (or all
volumes from all pools, if you prefer so / have edited several pools)

Currently, in the evenings my backup system backups first to disk and
then in the mornings I scheduled a copy job to copy the jobs to tape (LTO2).
It worked fine so far, but now I have a new machine and have to do a
full backup with the size of ~330GB. (The other machines are 200GB)
Tried fd ver 2.4.4 and 3.0.3 and they start and pid dies immediately. I am
having a hard time diagnosing this one. OS X console does not post the
error and system log files are just as quiet. Seems to compile fine. I can
