I just bought a Plextor DVD-writer, 100 DVD-RW disks, and a bag for them.
Now wondering best practises with DVD backups.
My first backup is running, so configuration seems to be ok. However, I did not
set "Maximum Part Size". Should I? I see often used 800M as that. What good
does it bring?

Kern Sibbald put that version available, and I have tested it with couple
backups and a restore. All seems good.
I you have a working version, do not upgrade without rigorous testing. 2.4.x is
broken (for DVD).

I have a home LAN backup system, running on Bacula since the very
beginning of Bacula.
I have never used Migration/Copy or Archive type jobs, but now planning
to go that route.
My backup machines is an old Pentium 4 powered HP Compaq with 3 GB RAM
and 2 x 800 GB Sata disks in RAID 1 s

that I have an NFS mounted folder for copy jobs for Full backup copies.
Now I'm trying to restore a backup which needs media from those both.
The restore started from Fullbackup portion, which resided on the NFS
