Just installed barry from sources and all it's dependencies on my gentoo laptop.  quick test of btool, bcharge, and barrybackup looked good! :-) Now, I want to use my blackberry as a tethered modem.  I did this on my ubuntu box easily b/c there were a bunch of ready made ppp scripts installed fr

Carlos, try a couple things first: Try running bcharge at a command prompt. Then try btool -l and see if it can find the Bold. If you want to try a newer version, there is an ebuild at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233946 You will need to put this ebuild into a portage overlay. Other th
