Anyone working on USB on-the-wire packet capture and analysis should
check out this tool released by VMWare as open source. It was just
announced on the kernel-usb list where some may want to increase the
support to include usbmon (linux based stuff)

Thanks for the input. I am more at home with BSD, however, I have
noticed that on default installs of linux distros when attempting to run
configure, a package is seen as not installed unless I run it as at
least sudo. I am aware that these things can be changed however, since the

VMWARE_DEBUG=yes" and then "/etc/init.d/vmware restart" in addition to
the steps mentioned on the instructions on the sourceforge site
