Since the "Everything" option should always show invisible files, including ~/Library when that's within the project's scope, this is decidedly odd. Are there any file filters active, and do any other invisible items native to ~ (e.g. ".bash_history", ".ssh", ".Trash") appear in the sidebar

Sorry to re-open this. Choosing "Everything" does indeed show the famous "dot-files" of Unix as well as the normal ones. But... I have a bbprojectd file which is set to my home directory. In that one's side bar, selecting "Everything" does not show the dot-files. I wonder if this has to do with
