Larry, can you attach an SPROM dump of your PCI BCM4318? I'm suffering from
the exact same problem, and it would be interesting to find out what is
actually happening. Also, what card do you have? (Mine is an Asus WL-138G V2

I'm back using Linux on this laptop (HP Compaq Presario C742N) and have
such upgraded Kernel and b43. I was getting very unreliable(almost none)
with 2.6.24 so I have jumped to 2.6.25-rc8. So with this version it
works for a period, then it bails. I tend to notice more of a bail if

Here is some further debugging on when the error occured. But I cannot
spot anything new. The connection did stay up for a couple of hours this
time.
The wireless was fine at this point.
