Would somebody have a good idea about control of earwigs in lettuce and other vegetables ?
Up until now I thought earwigs are good predators of other insects , we used to nurture them back in Germany in orchards .
Here they can do quite a bit of damage to full grown vegies and just emerging

In Europe you will find b.d. and organic farmers who grow canola (rape) in the
rotation followed by wheat which is normally the best yielding wheat in the
roatation, and the soil structure after the crop is pretty good if you
cultivate
