Re: The Wizards weekend

2002-07-15 Thread James Hedley

Dear Robin,
Sorry for the delay in answering your post, things
have been very busy in the period since the Wizards workshop.

Your idea of never being able to prove anything
seems to me to have some merit, but before you can develop a theory to falsify,
it becomes important to observe the phenomena that you are trying to theorise.
It was pointed out to me some time ago that we are very good at observing
phenomena, but very poor at developing theories. You only need to look at how
various fields of scientific thought change the theory because newly observed
phenomena do not fit into existing theory. It is time that some research was
done to see if it is possible to disprove the present theories of how radionics
works.
The point of whether radionics is a placebo effect
can easily be answered by measuring the effects of radionics on plants.

If it was a placebo effect you would expect for it
not to have an effect on plants or soil.general consensus from the Wizards
conference was that in most instances there was definite improvement in plant
growth, resistance to insect attacks, increase in the brix of plants and a
general improvement in the ability of plants to withstand drought
conditions.
As to the question of "is radionics really all that it
promises to be, or yet another mystical phenomenon that only exists for those
who already have faith that is works'.I think that you could say
categorically that if you were to approach radionic experiments from the basis
that it does not work that you would get experimenter bias where the
experimenter is able to influence the result of the experiment, however when
researchers in Germany tested 14 SE5 Radionic instruments in forestry work
it was found that technicians could use radionic instruments provided that they
followed the protocols. As to how we might measure and devise experiments I am
sure that a good Bio-metrician would be able to advise the methodologyof the
research and the methods for measuring the results.
The German
Forestry researchers chose to measure the light intensity in the forest, on the
basis that if the radionic broadcast had worked that there would be more shade
due to the increased folige.
Another method that you could test Radionic
broadcast may be the method used by the Polish forestry researcher Jerzy
Macurzack to test the effects of geopathic stress zones.
The method was very elegant. Firstly the geopathic
stress zones were identified by the use of a geomagnetometer. Along the the
stress zone were placed a series of containers filled with a super- saturated
solution of sodium chloride. In the adjacent neutral zone an equivalent number
of containerswith the other half of the salt solution were placed. They
were left for a period of time and then the salt solutions were allowed to dry
naturally.
The crystalline patterns showed that there was a
definite difference in the solution that had been exposed to the geopathic
stress zones as compared to the solution exposed to the neutral zone. An
instrument that measured the emission of photons was then used to compare photon
emissions from the two samples.
The resultwqs that the samples exposed to the
geopathic stress zones emitted on average 6 times as many photons as the samples
from the neutral zones.
This experiment proved conclusively that you could
use salt solutions to measurethe effects ofsubtle energies.I
could probablyfind you several other experiments that have tested the
effects of subtle energy, if you are interested please contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
The conensus, I felt after having been both a
presenter and participant at this workshop, was that the technology of radionics
showed great potential to not only ascertain and diagnose plant and soil health
but to also affect and alter them.John Pannan conclusively proved this
with his skillful use of the Don Mattioda analysis and broadcast
instrument.
I feel
thatit is possible build a case to de-mystify field broadcaster
technology and fit it into existing electromagnetic theory, totally able to be
measured by existing instrumentation. At this point in time I am not able to
sort out the role of intent in all of this, however it may be possible to
measure the action of intent toinfluence salt solutions. That is the
subject of this year's research work.

Sincere regards from the Land of the Wizards of
Oz

Hi Allan,

I've just been corresponding with Mark from Wisconsin about
plagerists which you are apparently debating at the moment on BD
Now. This arose after a Colorado journalist had given oxygen to some
plagerists of my work - despite having interviewed me at length, he
obviously decided that his journalistic license and success would
personally prosper if he donated all of my work to a few docters
rather than just a mere farmer !!! Please publish the enclosed
letter which i have just written to Mark - if you want. It seems
that he has suffered the same outrage in his past.

take care ,

Hi mark,

Yea, please put up my comments to BD Now about the plagerists and
cuckoos which seem to currently predominate the whole scientific
scene. I am so bloody angry right now with this kind of treatment.
It will be great to meet with you and share our many common
interests and frustrations !! please send on the following
paragraphs too, as this whole issue needs to be sorted out on behalf
of so many genuine, more humble scientists ( and artists )
worldwide.

It seems to be the people with passions - like yourself with
glycoproteins, etc - who invariably become the people who make the
true advances in scientific knowledge at the end of the day. But
these creative thinkers are ironically the ones whose intuitive
energies and insight gets vampirized - simply because they are
totally open with their research and findings, wanting to share and
discuss any new knowledge which they unearth on their investigative
journey, etc. But sadly this open approach ends up destroying them.
For most of the sociopathic, sharp suited ,senior scientists - if
you can call them scientists - are more interested in becoming front
page 'media tarts' than following their supposed pursuit of
scientific research and advancement.

Time and time again it is this same incestuous clique of expertise
who choose to abuse their position of power, considering it their
god given right to hijack every iota of original observation amongst
their students, outsider scientists, etc, and then cuckoo it out as
their own discovery to the uninformed public. It is not uncommon to
watch those same experts use any opportunity that they can grasp
to publicly discredit the very originator of the work that they have
just plagerised. Its sick.

Having chosen to farm like yourself - instead of carrying on up the
ladder of mainstream academia - I have regularly found my own
original work becoming primetime prey for these vultures ! They
consider it a walk over to plagerise a mere farmer - no second
thoughts about breaking all the rules of scientific ethics. Despite
having published peer reviewed, copyrighted scientific journal
articles to my name ( with acceptance dates, etc ), my former
vindictive critics are right now regurgitating out my precise
hypotheses from the ealy 1990s under under their own name !!!

Just recently I found myself subjected to the mother of all
plagerist assaults. After some high profile media publicity
surrounding my BSE research findings, the UK government's Minister
of Research , Baroness Haymann, invited me to submit a three
research proposal designed around my working hypotheses. The
government assured me that the work would be funded providing the
project was formulated upon sound scientific protocols. I teamed up
with reputable academic universities, and the proposal took me about
300 hours to prepare. After sitting on my proposal for one and a
half years - by which time the public interest in my work had waned
- I was appalled to get my study rejected for a host of irrational,
irrelevant unscientific reasons. One reviewer of the study had
actually misread the number of samples I was taking per cluster area
by twenty times less than the actual number that I had proposed. The
government scientists then trumped this erroneous critique up as
their key k nock down point on which my grant was rejected. Even If
I had only proposed to take one sample per cluster area - as this
idiot was stating - they could have simply advised me to take more
!!!

Salt was truly rubbed into my wounds when I read how the government
had subsequently invited this same idiot to sit on their most senior
spongiform advisory committee.

Worse still, my requests for personal data held on me which I filed
via the Data Protection Act, revealed that the government had
actually given a grant award for pursuing my work. Who had they
given it to ? the very reviewer of my work who had made such an ill
founded rejection !

The government had therefore tricked me into handing over the fruits
of my thousands of miles and pounds of self funded donkeybacked
research, so that their own tame

Chronic Wasting Disease: Infectious, Transmissible or Contagious? There is
a
 big difference!

by Franklin Carter, President, Santa Fe Research, Fort Collins, Colorado

The truth about how little is known has been covered up by theories
presented to the public as facts, and in fact, so little is known for
certain
after all this time is precisely because the popular theories have been
taken
for truth by the politicians and rule-makers within the European Union.
--Dr. David Brown, Cambridge University, England, in an interview in
February
 2000 about BSE (madcow disease).

This perfectly describes where we are today with Chronic Wasting Disease
(CWD) in deer and elk in the United States, and most especially, Colorado.
Why this has happened is beyond me. Is it fear, greed, ignorance, rivalry
among professionals, laziness on the part of the media? How can science be
so
overlooked in such a scientific problem?

I believe a great part of the public fear has been brought about by the
complete ignoring and mis-understanding of the simple difference in the
definition of the words infection, transmissible, and contagious. They are
not synonyms. I repeat, they do not mean the same thing. They describe
 separate processes.

Stedman's Medical Dictionary states: Infection: Endoparasitism,
multiplication of microorganisms in the body proper. Transmissible:
Capable
of being transmitted (carried across) from one person to another, as a
t.disease, an infectious or contagious disease. Contagious: Commumicable:
relating to contagion, transmissible by contact. These difference, while
looking almost the same to you and me, when applied to biological science,
are tremendous. Let's look at the scientific research on these differences
as
it relates to CWD. I think by now almost everyone knows CWD is caused by
prions. Prions are pieces of protein. They are made by the body as a
normal
process. They are not infectious microorganisms.

The prions causing CWD are abnormal, and because they are abnormal, they
cannot be broken down by the body as are normal prions. Normal prions
exist
in the body for less than one hour. These abnormal prions are not broken
down
at all and accumulate in the brain, causing the madcow symptoms.

Yes, CWD is transmissible from one deer to another or one elk to another.
At
the present time the only scientifically proven way to transmit CWD is by
injecting infected brain material from one animal to another or by feeding
infected brain matter. There are no scientific studies published that
absolutely show transmission by contact of one deer to another, much less
from deer to elk, cattle, horses or people. The same is true for elk. It
has
not happened in over thirty years of research. We know that CWD has been
studied at least forty years here in Colorado by people at Colorado State
University Veterinary School. The reason for so little success is
precisely
because it was so hard to transmit. They tried for years to transmit the
disease by putting a CWD deer or elk in a pen of healthy animals. If it
was
contagious, they would have had a pen full of CWD animals. It did not
happen.
Research finally showed you must feed or inject infected material. If it
was
infectious or contagious, it would have been very easy to transmit from
one
deer to another. These are sound, scientifically provable facts. Yes, we
need
to eliminate the CWD animals, but the killing of perfectly healthy deer
and
elk has to stop!!! It is the program of stupidity. Anyone of average
intelligence should have been able to look at the published scientific
facts
and realized there was no need to go on a slaughter rampage. If this is
the
best thinking our money can buy, it is time to try some new people.

Let's stop scaring each other. Let's stop scaring the ranchers that they
will
lose all their cattle if there is a deer or elk with CWD on their land.
They
have been there for at least thirty or forty years, and the number of CWD
animals still remains at about three to five percent of the wild deer or
elk
population. If CWD was infectious or contagious, we would have had
tremendous
numbers of CWD animals. We have had no known cases of BSE in Colorado or
any
other state with deer and elk populations. All of this fear should not
have
 happened and must be stopped.

There is a proven scientific fact called the species barrier. This barrier
is
nature's way of preventing everything from dying from one disease. This
barrier (I will call it a law) is why you do not get sick when your pet
gets
sick. This is why people raising chickens do not get Avian Influenza,
Newcastle disease, or any one of several other contagious diseases. This
is
why cattle people do not normally come down with cattle diseases. Diseases
 are normally
