Even though comparing children and dogs probably seems silly to some, to dog lovers
the analogy is readily understandable.
I bought my Maddie in good faith from a breeder who had obtained the usual clearances.
I've spent at least 1500 unplanned dollars on x-rays and CT scans to try and diagnose

NO ! I don't think that would be very fair to the breeder. You take a dog
into your home , you're responsible after that.
If my daughter came up with a health problem , I sure wouldn't ask the
"powers that be" to pay for it ! However , I think the breeder should be
upfront about any KNOWN health is

easier on the pocketbook though when the dog you accept from someone is
already an adult, has had all health cert
