[SLI] I have a philosophical issue with the parent/child relationship you
describe. If MAC is parent of MAC-IP, how could MAC be truly optional as a
child cannot exist without its parent.

* Abstract should not use xtarget references, you could use “RFC7432” as
plain text but not using the reference tag. You should also not use normative
language “IS REQUIRED” in the abstract.
