Hi,
It's the third time this week that our DNS service at www.powerdns.net went
down, but this time it lasted over 12 hours. We use their service already for
more than 10 years without much issues. They have credits. However...
I'll check with the web admins what to do, probably looking for a
Hi,
For the record, if DNS goes down again, here's the IPs you can set in your
hosts file. The unix gurus here can tell if that's true though :)
git.blender.org (82.94.226.105)

will I continue to offer my computer with the updated builder or hand it
off to someone else? I'm more than willing to continue, but
Hey gang,
Looks like we had yet more PowerDNS.net outages, so we took the liberty of
migrating blender.org (other domains will follow) to another provider (
he.net).
While some DNS servers have picked up the change, it may take a while for
other ISP's and devices to forgot that we don't use
I wanted to bump this to make sure it did not get buried too deep.
Has anything been added to d.b.o or anywhere else to keep this ball rolling?
Thanks,
JTa
