Dear Bioacoustics List: I am interested in information on the types of recording devices that are available for simultaneously recording individual primate-sized animals in relatively large social groups under field conditions (that is the device needs to be both remote and wireless). In other words, I am wondering if there is any technology available that is similar to the "critter cam" (but smaller) that can transmit signals to a wireless receiver connected to a remote computer.
