Then you are able to set your password.

Hi,

You cannot have two maintainers to a package. We operate under the assumption
that there is a single maintainer per package. The user that has access to the
package is j.chen2., there are no SSH keys with that username so there is no
access. Ive deleted the other account with username raman.. under the same
email as j.chen2.

The best way forward is to add keys under j.chen2 and get access to the package.

https://github.com/JinmiaoChenLab/cytofkit2/blob/master/DESCRIPTION#L10

Take a look at this link:
http://bioconductor.org/developers/package-guidelines/#description

Only one person should be listed as the Maintainer to ensure a single point of
contact. This person by default will have commit access to the git repository
on
git.bioconductor.org<http://git.bioconductor.org><http://git.bioconductor.org>.
Commit access can be given to other developers by request on the bioc-devel
mailing list. Another option is to add collaborators to the github repository.
This approach enables development by many but restricts push access to
git.bioconductor.org.

Best,

Nitesh

Subject: [Bioc-devel] Bioconductor Git Credentials

Hello,
I am trying to merge changes from https://github.com/jspidlen/flowUtils to
g...@git.bioconductor.org:packages/flowUtils.git but don't seem to have
access. So I tried
https://git.bioconductor.org/BiocCredentials/account_activation/ but it
tells me jspid...@gmail.com is not associated with a maintainer of a
Bioconductor package. But I thought it would be considering that this
Maintainer: Josef Spidlen
is in the DESCRIPTION of flowUtils.

Can someone help?

Thanks,
Josef

Re: [Bioc-devel] Bioconductor git credentials

2019-02-07 Thread Turaga, Nitesh
Hi Mike,

I will take care of this for you.

Jake would need to login to the BiocCredentials app
(https://git.bioconductor.org/BiocCredentials) and authenticate himself with a
username and password which I will send to his email directly.

Jake should then add his SSH keys to his account, and that should get him going
with access to these packages.

Best,

Nitesh

Hello,

My name is Jacob Wagner and I will be helping Mike Jiang to maintain most of
the packages he works on involving analysis of flow cytometry data. If possible
I would like to:

1) Get set up with an account in the credentials database so that I can add my
public key to be able to at least pull from the git repos

2) Get added as a maintainer so that I can push to the repos as well

The repositories are:

cytolib

CytoML

flowClust

flowCore

flowQ

flowStats

flowViz

flowWorkspace

ggcyto

ncdfFlow

openCyto

QUALIFIER

RProtoBufLib

The email I would like for the account is jpwag...@fredhutch.org

Please let me know how I might go about setting this up or what further
information you may need from me. I am CCing Mike Jiang so he can monitor the
progress and can if necessary provide approval for the change.

Thanks much,

Jake Wagner

Your account was associated with email
