Golden Eagle that I reported on April 10. It was actually a second-year
Bald Eagle.

While doing a trail in the Pinery this afternoon with the family, I had the
pleasure of running into Maris Apse and his family. He mentioned a Snowy
that had been seen all winter up until at least this past Friday east of
Exeter.
So on the way home, while looking for the Snowy, to
Tree Swallows were observed from the southern portion of the marsh boardwalk
at Presqu'ile and at Wicklow Beach on Easter Sunday. Spring maybe coming!
Follow Fred Helleiner's directions to Presqu'ile. From the 401, Wicklow
beach can be reached by exiting at interchange 487, go south to Grafton,
Today (Sunday) afternoon I saw single Common Flicker at bushy area of Mud
Lake(south of lake closer to bike pass)

Mark Breaks and I birded Amhurst Island this afternoon to look for the
Snowy Owls, we spent five hours touring all the roads and we found a grand
total
of 21 Snowy Owls scattered throughout the Island, they were all were seen
from the car. After doing all the roads once and heading to the 8pm
